Sylvia Molloy was a British realist and impressionist painter and art teacher.
She lived in Burma after her marriage and subsequently also in India and South Africa in 1947; returning to Britain in the 1960s disliking the system of apartheid in that country.
Sylvia Molloys paintings of India and Burma are held in the British Library's India Office.
